DESCRIPTION:We’re so sorry to announce that we’ve decided to cancel today’s Central Neighborhood Block Party. \nAfter the severe storms and derecho that swept through our area last week\, we know many of our neighbors are still dealing with cleanup\, repairs\, power issues\, downed trees\, and just plain exhaustion. With all the rain we’ve had — and more in the forecast today — we felt that asking everyone to rally for a block party today was simply too much. \nThis event is supposed to be about relaxing\, having fun\, and enjoying time with our neighbors\, and this just doesn’t feel like the right weekend for it. \nWe’re disappointed\, and we know many of you were looking forward to it\, too. We’re sorry for the last-minute change and truly appreciate everyone who volunteered\, donated\, planned\, and helped us get ready. \nFor now\, take care of yourselves\, help a neighbor if you can\, and get some rest. ❤️ \nWe’ll share more information soon about whether we’re able to reschedule. \n— Central Neighborhood \n———————————————————————————- \nAt the intersection of Washington & Institute \nFood!
